If you need more time to finish using an item, you are able to request a renewal for up to two additional loan periods, as long as there are no reserves on the item. Renewals can be made in person, over the phone, or online through your library account.
If the library has a book you wish to read but it is not on the shelf, you may place a reserve on the item so that it will be held for you once it is returned. You can reserve an item by phone, in person, or from the library's online catalog. You will receive a phone call when the reserved item is available for you to check out. The library will hold the item for 3 days after you have been contacted.
