Library cards are available free of charge to anyone who is at least 16 years of age with valid photo identification. A valid driver's license or state identification card is preferred, but any photo ID (such as a passport, school ID, military ID, or work badge) is acceptable, as long as a name is also printed on the photo ID. The Chambers County Library System will return to curbside-only service beginning Monday, June 29. Curbside hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and Saturday, 9am to 1pm. The services that will be available via curbside pickup are reserving and checking out library materials (audiobooks, books, and DVDs), as well as contactless faxing and printing. During this time, library items must be returned to the outdoor book drop at your local branch. Items will be quarantined for 14 days before they are checked in. No fines will be assessed.
